The Asia Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) training course on remote sensing application and data sharing service platform was successfully held during 8-11 August, 2017 in Lima, Peru. The training was jointly organized by the Secretariat of APSCO and Peruvian Space Agency (CONIDA).
The CEO of CONIDA, Major General CARLOS CABALLERO LE¨®N chaired the opening ceremony and welcomed the lecturer team. CONIDA expressed gratitude to APSCO for its support during the flood earlier this year and willing to continue to deepen cooperation on remotes sensing.
92 participants from over 20 different departments of government, institutes and universities attended the training. Participants showed great interest in the DSSP Cloud Platform and paid tribute to the work done on it. During the training CONIDA showed its application with PeruSat-1 and expressed their willingness to share data of PeruSat-1 with all Member States.
Next, lecturer team of APSCO will continue to the final stop of this training in Iran.
