APSCO Training Course on Future Applications of Small Satellites

[Abstract]:The Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) short training on Future Application of Small Satellites was successfully held during 27 August to 1 September,2018 in Xi’an, China. The Final Installation Mission of the Ionospheric Modeling Project Successfully Completed

[Abstract]:The Research on Atmospheric Effects on Ionospheric Modeling Project (Ionospheric Modeling Project) is achieving significant progress. Following up the Kick-off Meeting of the Project in 2016, APSCO and the Project Lead, China Research Institute of Radio Wave Propagation (CRIRP), successfully installed the TEC/Scintillation Monitoring Receivers in Member States of Bangladesh, Pakistan, Peru and Thailand. Secretary-General of APSCO visited Egypt

[Abstract]:The Secretary-General of APSCO, Dr. Li Xinjun and his delegation paid an official visit to Cairo, Egypt during May 5-8, 2018. The purpose of the visit was to facilitate the process of ratification of APSCO Convention by the Republic of Egypt, after its acceptance of status as an Associate Member with APSCO. The Second Summer Camp of APSCO SSS Project is successfully completed

[Abstract]:Training sessions of the Second Summer Camp activity continued during the third week. The week saw an amazing opening session with Attitude Control lecture and laboratory aiming on ADCS Micro-Simulator Hands-on Training, which were given by Iranian Professor Dr. Mehran Mirshams from K.N. Toosi University of Technology. The course started with an introduction of ADC system, and was followed by the test set up introduction and demonstration on ADCS Micro-Simulator.
