APSCO delegation attended China Space Conference 202, held from September 18-21, 2020 in Fuzhou, China. The conference was based on theme "Promoting the aerospace spirit and embracing the Starry Sea". The conference was organized by China National Space Administration, China Association for Science and Technology and Fujian Government. Supported by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, International Astronautical Federation, International Society of Space Law and APSCO and sponsored by Chinese Society of Astronautics and China Space Foundation.
At the opening ceremony, "Major Space Project Award" and "Qian Xuesen Outstanding Contribution Award" were presented by China Space Foundation. The two Aerospace Corporates signed strategic cooperation agreements with Fujian Province respectively. The 2020 China Space Conference was the third one to be held after 2018 and 2019. A total of 16 activities were designed, including one main forum, one closed door meeting, two international forums, seven academic (technical) forums, one cultural forum, one education forum, two popular science activities and one exhibition. As the core activity of the conference, the main Forum gathered the leaders of foreign and domestic aerospace community to discuss the strategic layout of China's space development, the breakthrough of key core technologies, the development of space information industry along the maritime Silk Road, and global space cooperation
During the Conference, APSCO delegation closely interacted with CNSA, China Space Foundation and Fujian Governments officials on possible future cooperation in space related fields, such as organizing joint training, forums etc.
