The Final Review Meeting on APSCO International GNSS Monitoring and Assessment iGMA Project Successfully Organized via Teleconference

The Final Review Meeting on APSCO International GNSS Monitoring and Assessment (iGMA) Project was organized on 10-11 November, 2020, via Teleconference. The Project Management Board (PMB), experts and officials from Bangladesh, China, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, Peru, Thailand, Turkey and the project management team from APSCO Secretariat participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Manop Aorpimai, Director-General of SP&PM Department of APSCO who was also the Chairman of PMB.


During opening session, APSCO Secretariat expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to excellent support and contribution from the Project Lead, China, and thanked all Member States for their support especially during the equipment installation and station operation. After the opening, expert from Project Lead, China, gave a presentation on the technical summary report and presented potential areas for applications of the APSCO-iGMA Network. All Member States introduced the operation status of the station in their country. Discussion on the technical summary report and the network operation and utilization were carried out. 

As a conclusion, Project Management Board and delegates from all Member States agreed that the implementation phase of APSCO iGMA project has completed. The APSCO-iGMA Network has been established and now ready to transfer into its operation and utilization phase.
