Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO), Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) and Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (BRAIA) successfully organized the 2nd China Microsatellite Symposium in end of November, on virtual format. The theme of the symposium was "Linking the World • Soaring the Space".
The symposium was based on a series of aerospace science and technology videos shared via the official website of the China Microsatellite Symposium http://www.microsatchina.com. These videos were conducted by invited experts including 10 experts nominated by APSCO Member States, introducing appealing aerospace science and technology in following themes:
(1) Microsatellite general scheme design
(2) Microsatellite component design
(3) Microsatellite mission design
(4) Microsatellite payload design
(5) Microsatellite application
At the beginning, the Symposium was consisted of both online and on-site activities. However, as the situation of the pandemic was getting worse worldwide, and in order to ensure achieving the desired results, after careful consideration, the on-site events of the 2nd China Microsatellite Symposium were being suspended, which might be organized when the pandemic is under the good control.The videos will be available on website to access free from Nov 30, 2020.
